About Clean Energy Congress 2.0
The Clean Energy Congress will bring together business leaders, educators, innovators, and policy makers to debate Florida energy policy. The Congress will develop a vision for Florida’s energy future - eliminating obstacles for a robust competitive energy market and diversifying our generation mix.
Clean Energy Congress participants share a passion for promoting a clean energy future for Florida and look to get past the political gridlock that has held back the state.
Clean Energy Congress 2.0 will give stakeholders a chance to hear from experts, consider proposals for policy changes and vote for measures to help the Sunshine State keep energy dollars here at home.
Clean Energy Congress 2.0 will be held Monday October 7th in the Historic Florida Capitol in Tallahassee. The Congress will convene at 10:00 a.m. in the House Chamber. The day ends with a Reception where Clean Energy Champions in The Florida Legislature will be recognized.

Doug Coward to Address Clean Energy Congress

Doug Coward, Executive Director of the Solar and Energy Loan Fund (SELF) will be on a panel of speakers addressing the Clean Energy Congress 2.0 on Monday October 7th. Doug will highlight his successful Solar and Energy Loan Fund, which recently passed the $2 million funding milestone.
SELF is a community-based lending organization that focuses on residential energy efficiency improvements and renewable energy alternatives. Solar and Energy Loan Fund has been operational for nearly three years in St. Lucie County, and recently expanded into four additional counties, including: Martin, Indian River, Okeechobee, and Brevard.Read More
